These SMS Messaging Terms ("SMS Terms") describe the text-message (SMS) program operated by EasyPlanus, a property-management software platform. EasyPlanus is a service operated by AltairVL LLC ("EasyPlanus," "we," "us," or "our"). These SMS Terms supplement our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
EasyPlanus sends transactional, account-related text messages to property owners and tenants who use our platform. These messages relate to your own account and the properties or tenancies you are associated with. Typical messages include:
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
You consent to receive SMS messages from EasyPlanus by selecting SMS as your notification channel in your EasyPlanus account settings. You provide your mobile telephone number as part of your account or when your property manager sets up your tenancy, and by choosing SMS you agree to receive the transactional messages described above at that number. You may also be asked to provide affirmative consent before SMS notifications are enabled.
Message frequency varies based on your account activity — for example, when rent becomes due, when a payment status changes, or when a maintenance request requires your attention. We do not send a fixed number of messages.
You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, we will send a single confirmation message and will not send you further SMS messages, unless you opt back in. To resubscribe, reply START.
Opting out of SMS does not remove your EasyPlanus account; you may continue to receive notifications through other channels (such as email) according to your account settings.

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and your plan. EasyPlanus does not charge you for the messages themselves; any charges come from your mobile carrier.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.
The program is available on major U.S. mobile carriers. Carrier participation may change, and carriers are not responsible for the program.
The mobile number you provide and your messaging consent are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your mobile number, and we do not share your mobile number or your messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing. We share your number only with the service providers that help us deliver the messages (such as our messaging provider).
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by notice through the platform.
